this is my multifandom OC account! Here, I post art & fic pertaining to my fan characters for various series I am into, as well as retweets, and wips/sketches so I can keep my other accounts clean.Unless stated, my OCs are not self-inserts/sonas, they are not supposed to be me. They are treated as their own characters. My main ships involving OCs are not self-ship and are strictly OC x Canon or OC x OC.(On very rare occasions I may post about a self-insert/sona but I'm very shy. Don't expect too much on that end.)This account is multifandom, so do keep this in mind. It was originally created with Pokemon and my Pokemon OCs in mind, so they will take up a majority the of focus here. On my OC x Canon ships
Unless stated, all of my OCs are separate from me, they are not self-inserts. I approach them like they are already existing canon characters. I see my OC x canon ships in the same vein as a canon x canon ship. When I partake in OC x canon, they are cut from the same cloth as canon x canon ships, just made a little more personal by involving a character of my own creation. Canon may not have given me what I wanted for a favorite character, so I used a pre-existing OC to bridge the gap and created an OTP just for me.This is not a fantasy of "me x character" (and on top of all that I can only really ship myself with a certain fire emblem character anyways LOL). However, despite all of this, I treat every single one of my OC x canon ships very seriously and sincerely, and I hope that doesn't make them (or my boundaries) any less significant than a canon x canon ship or a yumeship. They are still very special to me and help me navigate topics in fiction I would otherwise be uncomfortable with in real life.Sharing/Boundaries
I am selective overall, and I can be varying degrees of selective. (This goes not for only characters involved in my OC x canon ships, but those in my favorite canon x canon ships as well.)
With some characters, I might be OK with sharing, but for others I am more rigid (some characters I am OTP only with, or I only prefer with very specific ships). Interaction is OK but please do keep in mind that I may be very selective to follow or follow back. These boundaries are merely set up for my own comfort. I will engage on my own terms.None of this is personal. I just have strong attachments to my ships and head-canons for my favorite characters. It's not you, it's me 🥲My ship boundaries are far less of a "stay away from me if you ship with this same character", and much more of a way for me to say that I will be less likely to seek out other shipping content for specific characters.I can take care of my space. If using what tools you have at your disposal to curate your online space is something you must do to my own account for the same reason, I encourage you to do it. Your comfort is paramount!
